HUD OIG found that 42 of 45 units examined at Chalet Terrace in Jackson, Michigan, failed a focused safety evaluation. Investigators documented 285 life-threatening or severe deficiencies and projected that at least 109 of the development’s 126 tenant units likely contained a serious deficiency at the time of the review.
