NSPIRE Wire is an editorial news platform covering HUD, NSPIRE, and REAC topics for people who operate affordable housing — including owners, property and regional managers, compliance teams, maintenance teams, housing authority staff, and the consultants who support them.
Our job is simple: explain what changed, who it may affect, what operators may want to review, and where the official source is.
We surface and explain official updates. We do not replace them, and we do not present our coverage as HUD guidance, legal advice, or compliance advice.
How we work
NSPIRE Wire is built around a trust-first editorial model.
Every published item is written and reviewed by people. Routine factual updates receive editorial review. Compliance-sensitive items — including scoring, appeals, inspection protocol, deadlines, and interpretations — receive additional review before they can be published.
We link back to primary and official sources so readers can verify the information themselves. When dates or deadlines appear, they are framed as items to confirm against the original source before acting.
We also correct openly. When we materially correct a published item, we mark the correction, date it, re-check it against the source, and log it publicly.
