ZIONS BANCORPORATION ACQUIRES BASIS INVESTMENT GROUP’S FANNIE MAE AND FREDDIE MAC MULTIFAMILY LENDING PLATFORM

Zions Bancorporation has completed its acquisition of Basis Investment Group’s agency multifamily lending platform, including its experienced lending team, capabilities and associated mortgage servicing rights. The transaction gives Zions access to Fannie Mae’s DUS program and Freddie Mac’s Optigo Conventional program, significantly expanding its ability to finance multifamily, workforce and affordable housing nationwide. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
